We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Tax Operations Manager to join the team in one of our CohnReznick offices.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
This position is for Tax Operations. Members of Tax Operations support the Tax Department. They do not perform tax work nor consult with clients.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage multiple projects by coordinating aspects of a project in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
- Lead operational projects from planning, carrying out tasks, following up with teams to complete tasks and ensuring timelines are met.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, determine changes to project plan and timeline to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Report periodically on project status and ensure issues are communicated timely.
- Establish and maintain relationships with team members and work across various groups.
- Understanding of the function of a Tax Department in a public accounting Firm to anticipate the needs of the engagement teams.
- Ability to develop and roll out policies and procedures.
- Utilize excel spreadsheets and MS Office programs to maintain team documents and tasks.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to change quickly.
- Detail-oriented and able to consistently meet deadlines.
- Responsible for coordinating and attending meetings to gather, document and track data.
- Work through and resolve minor issues without assistance.
- Perform administrative tasks that may or may not be project related for team members.
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience establishing and executing projects is required
- PMP Certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Excellent presentation skills
- Solid project management and organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word) and ability to gain intermediate and advanced skills through company online learning program
- Remote work experience strongly preferred
